Derek is responsible for growing the network of Premier Inn and hub by Premier Inn hotels in the UK and Ireland. Leading a team of in-house property acquisition managers, he has successfully grown Premier Inn into the UK’s largest hotel company, offering a network of 85,000 bedrooms in the UK & Ireland. The opportunity is to continue to grow the brand towards a long-term potential of 125,000 Premier Inn rooms in the UK, with a particular focus on expansion in London, key towns and cities in the UK and Ireland and leisure locations.
